That's right, Nikki [ ~Colonelx1Lieutenant ], our co-admin, and I went to a Star Trek convention.

You see, my father was brave enough to drive the two of us across the state to Seattle where it was held, in the Science Fiction Museum at the Space Needle.

It was insane. Absolutly insane.

I got a Deep Space Nine hat, a t-shirt, a Next Generation combadge, a Jadzia Dax mug, and here's the big one...

Well you see, a photo op with the the three of them is $75, but we only paid $40 because we paid for the picture with just Marina Sirtis [Deanna Troi] but she had already left, so they let us get the Original Series group pic for only the $40 we payed.

Yep, that's right folks, I had Uhura's hand on my shoulder, and Nikki had a hand on Sulu's and one on Chekov's.

How cool is that?

I'm thinking about posting the pic... Should I?

Well, after we got our stuff at the con, excepting the picture [it had to develop], we were going to walk back to the car to drop off our stuff, but we couldn't find the car...

So we walked around Seattle for around 30 minutes.

Damn, that hurts your legs.

And then we saw a Klingon in McDonalds~

Oh, and on the night before the con, we stayed at the home of one of the two most awesome couples in the world.

At Tony and Rebecca's.

When we got there, my father ordered two cheese pizzas, but Tony said, "Gee Bob, could ya get any more boring?" And called them back.

"Hey, I just ordered two cheese pizzas a minute ago, and thought, 'man, for that price, I want some food on it!' So put some vegetables on it.....What will that come to? Man, you think very highly of your pizza.....how long will it take? Only 45 minutes! What, is it gold-plated or something?!"

And it went on like that for a while. He gave the guy such a hard time, with me and Nikki laughing our asses off in the background.

Then Rebecca came in and we told her what he did and gave him a look like "If I wasn't holding the baby right now..."

And once everyone else was asleep, Nikki, Tony, and I watched King Kong. And let's just say I can never watch it with a straight face again...

And then, at like one in the morning, me and Tony were talking in the kitchen and we heard talking in the room me and Nikki were staying in, and went in to check it out.

We walk in, and we see what apears to be Nikki talking to a lamp. She truns around and sees us and says "Oh!" So Tony and I fall over laughing.

But, as it turns out, she was actually talking to the extention cord...

Oh, and Tony has met Stephen King! In a grocery store! Apparently he lives in Maine, and Tony used to. He says he lives a normal life. Lives in an average neighborhood, shops at the grocery store, goes to baseball games...

Now I'm going to hide in suitcase and go to Maine with him tp meet Stephen King.

And Tony has this Aloe vera plant in his living room, and aarently he stole it from a library.

So I said, "Tony, I think it's a sin to steal a plant from a library."

"A sin! Ha! I'm an Atheist! Well, actually, I'm Buddhist, but it's practically the same thing."

So yeah. Basically, never take me and Nikki across the state for a couple of days. And definatly don't put us in a home with Tony and Rebecca.

Oh, and wish Tony luck at getting his PhD~
